Maintenance Supervisor

Primary Functions
- Oversee a technical team of maintenance foremen and technicians to efficiently execute all maintenance work orders or job cards as directed by the Engineer Planner.
- Ensure strict compliance with the SAP PM plan and address site‑specific maintenance requirements.
- Accurately enter data and complete work orders in the SAP PM system.
- Apply solid trade knowledge and technical skills to promptly attend to, address, and resolve equipment failures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team, fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Maintain equipment, which includes:
- Fixed equipment such as CNC, PLC‑based, hydraulic, welding machines, blasting and painting equipment.
- Portable equipment such as welding machines, grinders, chipping guns, torches, welding ovens, rollers, manipulators.
- Mobile plant equipment such as forklifts, MEWPs, cleaning machines, air compressors, generators, material handling equipment.
- Equipment in workshop facilities and mechanical utilities, including exterior utilities like lines and appliances.
- Lifting and transportation equipment such as electric overhead cranes, portal JIB cranes, mobile & rough terrain cranes, crawler cranes, shipyard transporters, self‑propelled modular transporters.
- Portable geared and powered lifting appliances including electric hoists, chain hoists, hydraulic jacks, pedestal jacks, load cells.
- Conduct Task‑Based Training (TBT) and work preparation instructions to ensure compliance with QFAB s QHSES requirements.
- Facilitate Permit To Work (PTW) requirements, energy isolation, HIT card and other safety measures as applicable.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Engineer for assistance and maintenance quality measurement.
- Supervise timely execution of all maintenance work orders assigned by the Engineer Planner, ensuring completion per procedures, safety, and quality standards and accurate resource logging in SAP PM.
- Provide spare parts and external service requests to the Maintenance Engineer, and submit work order completion reports with findings and pending items.
- Adhere to department maintenance workflow processes.
- Enforce strict adherence to the SAP PM plan for scheduling, execution and documentation.
- Monitor team performance to meet work order requirements and deadlines.
- Respond to breakdown notifications, troubleshoot and repair equipment failures.
- Maintain accurate data entry for SAP PM work orders, including updating status and recording observations.
- Engage closely with Production supervisor for equipment malfunctions, coordinate maintenance windows, and ensure equipment availability.
- Diploma with relevant years of work experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechatronics.
- 4+ years of relevant industrial experience in the maintenance department.
