The Principal Process Engineer is responsible and accountable for managing Process Engineering activities autonomously during the Development Project Study, Concept Selection, and Pre-FEED phases. Responsibilities include design review of work carried out by contractors or managed in-house, mapping surface constraints across offshore and onshore processing facilities, assessing production impacts of debottlenecking opportunities, performing process simulation work, and liaising with peers, discipline leads, or contributors from other entities in a transverse organization of the Development project.
The role also expects reviewing challenge contributions and actively promoting innovative approaches.
- Minimum of 15 years O&G industry experience
- Experience in conceptual engineering within early stages of Development Project studies, particularly Pre-FEED
- Well versed in process simulations, equipment sizing, PFD, PEFS, steady and transient flow analysis, control narratives, and cause-effect analysis
- Recognized expertise and leadership in Process Engineering
- Leadership and interpersonal skills to liaise with technical discipline in transverse organizational schemes
- Working knowledge of company business processes and regulatory requirements with a track record of deviation processes
- Degree in Chemical, Process, or Petroleum Engineering
- Master’s degree preferred
