Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and monitor detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project or similar software.
• Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to define project scope, deliverables and milestones.
• Prepare baseline schedules, progress reports and recovery plans.
• Track project performance and analyze variances between planned and actual progress.
• Identify critical paths, risks and delays; propose corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with various departments (engineering, procurement, construction) to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Generate weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards for internal and client reporting.
• Assist in resource planning and cost-loading of schedules if required.
• Support the preparation of project extension of time (EOT) claims and delay analysis.
• Ensure planning and scheduling activities comply with company standards and contractual requirements.

• Preferred:
  Experience in Qatar or GCC.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel.
• Solid understanding of project lifecycle and construction/engineering project phases.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• BE Electrical. Qualified.
