Planning Officer - Engineering Powerplant - Qatar Airways - Doha, Qatar

Position Overview Planning Officer - Engineering Powerplant at Qatar Airways in Doha, Qatar provides operational planning and coordination support across CAMO Power Plant, engine facilities, base, and line maintenance. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with data setup teams, power plant, and aircraft maintenance programs to gather inputs for spare engine and APU work packages
  • Generate spare engine and APU work packages in AMOS
  • Coordinate with engine facilities, base planning, and line planning teams to support execution of all power plant-related tasks
  • Liaise with engine facility and power plant teams to prepare and manage off-wing engine and APU activity priority lists
  • Coordinate on-site engine and APU maintenance activities with approved third-party maintenance providers
  • Support effective planning and scheduling to ensure operational continuity and compliance with maintenance requirements
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • General knowledge of aircraft and engine systems within a maintenance environment
  • Understanding of CAMO and Part 145 functions
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project
  • Working knowledge of AMOS is an advantage
