Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain hydraulic models using industry-standard software such as Info Works ICM, EPANET, or similar, ensuring accuracy and reliability for water or wastewater systems.
- Conduct detailed hydraulic analysis to assess system performance, identify bottlenecks, and evaluate the impact of proposed infrastructure improvements including pipe sizing and pump selection.
- Perform calibration and verification of hydraulic models using field data, ensuring models accurately reflect real-world system behavior and meet regulatory requirements.
- Analyze model results to generate comprehensive reports, including graphical representations, and present findings to stakeholders highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field with a strong emphasis on hydraulics and fluid mechanics.
- Holds a professional engineering license (PE) or is actively pursuing licensure, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards and ethical practice.
- Demonstrates proficiency in using hydraulic modeling software such as Info Works ICM, EPANET, Water
GEMS, or similar, with practical experience in model development and analysis. - Has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hydraulic modeling, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects in water or wastewater systems.
