As a Production Control Engineer Level I, you will support the planning, monitoring, and execution of maintenance tasks during aircraft layovers. You will coordinate closely with teams across Maintenance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Scheduling to ensure that planned inputs such as C-Checks and Modifications are carried out efficiently. This role is essential to maintaining operational reliability and minimizing aircraft downtime.

• Prepare and coordinate all scheduled maintenance inputs such as C-Checks, A-Checks, Line Checks, and Modifications.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure tooling, materials, manpower, and documentation are in place before maintenance begins.
• Track real‑time maintenance progress and adjust project plans as needed.
• Conduct daily progress meetings with Maintenance Supervisors and circulate status reports.
• Assist in resolving technical or logistical issues during layovers to minimize delays.
• Follow up on outstanding technical log defects assigned to Planning and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Ensure proper parts and tooling availability at maintenance locations.
• Review and finalize maintenance packages and submit them to Fleet Planning.
• Participate in outsourced maintenance as part of Qatar Airways' representative team when needed.
• Align maintenance scope with aircraft ground time in case of schedule changes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with 4 years of experience, or Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of aviation maintenance regulations, particularly EASA Part 145 and Part M.
• Understanding of aircraft and engine systems and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with planning software (e.g., AMPPS, TRAX) and documentation workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical reporting tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in high‑pressure operational settings.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
