This role supports compliance and safety operations in line with QCAA, EASA, and ICAO regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical auditing, airworthiness regulations, and aviation maintenance standards, with the ability to assist in document review, internal audits, and regulatory alignment.

As a Compliance and Safety Engineer Level 1, you will work under the guidance of senior safety engineers to perform audits, assist in the preparation of compliance documentation, evaluate authorizations, and monitor regulatory adherence across Qatar Airways ' maintenance activities. Your role ensures that operations meet the safety and quality standards set by QCAR Parts 145, M & 147 and EASA regulations.

• Assist in conducting planned compliance audits with senior engineers and record findings
• Support the review and verification of corrective actions submitted by departments
• Help maintain technical procedures and manuals including MOE, TPM, ASL, CAME, MTOE, and RAC
• Prepare initial drafts of safety bulletins and compliance notices for internal circulation
• Evaluate staff qualifications for certifications and authorization renewals
• Support analysis of occurrence reports and compile compliance recommendations
  
  Ensure proper documentation and regulatory alignment of safety systems and manuals
• Coordinate communication with internal and external stakeholders as needed
• Perform compliance and safety-related duties assigned by the management

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Aeronautical Engineering, or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance with ICAO Type II license
• Minimum 5 years' experience in aviation maintenance, compliance, quality, or airworthiness
• Familiar with QCAA, EASA Part 145, M, and 147 standards
• Training in auditing techniques and quality/safety systems is preferred
• Strong understanding of ICAO and FAA regulations
• Experience using Air Nav, My Boeing Fleet, and computer-based audit systems
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in technical documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
