We are seeking a
Resident Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering and construction projects.
As a Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and project performance. This position is ideal for candidates with strong technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in managing construction and infrastructure projects.
You will work closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, architects, and engineering teams to ensure projects are completed successfully, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities- Supervise and monitor all on-site construction and engineering activities
- Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, drawings, and approved standards
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Monitor project schedules, progress, and construction performance
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality assurance and quality control standards
- Review technical drawings, reports, and engineering documentation
- Identify site challenges and provide practical engineering solutions
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
- Support project planning, execution, and successful project delivery
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and approvals
- Assist in resolving technical and operational issues efficiently
- Ensure all construction activities meet local authority and engineering compliance requirements
We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of leading site activities with confidence and professionalism. The ideal candidate should have the ability to build strong working relationships with teams and stakeholders while ensuring smooth coordination across all project phases.
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field
- Proven experience working as a Resident Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of construction management, site supervision, and engineering coordination
- Excellent knowledge of engineering standards, project procedures, and construction methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in engineering software and project documentation is an advantage
- GCC experience will be considered a strong advantage
