Responsibilities- Plan, supervise, and execute electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for LV, MV, and HV systems.
- Ensure that all commissioning procedures, check sheets, and test records are properly completed and documented.
- Coordinate with construction, mechanical completion, and instrumentation teams for system readiness.
- Lead and manage electrical technicians, supervisors, and subcontractors during commissioning.
- Oversee loop checks, insulation resistance testing, hi-pot testing, primary injection, secondary injection, and other functional tests.
- Ensure proper commissioning of switch gear (LV/MV), transformers and motors, UPS systems and battery chargers, lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems, and electrical distribution networks.
- Review and approve test packages, method statements, and commissioning procedures.
- Monitor system handover from construction to commissioning (A/B punch list clearance).
- Coordinate with vendors for pre-commissioning/commissioning of vendor packages.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE procedures during all site activities.
- Support start-up and energization activities under safe conditions.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports and maintain commissioning logs.
- Participate in technical meetings, commissioning planning sessions, and readiness reviews.
- Provide input to as-built documentation and commissioning dossiers.
- BE/BTech - Electrical.
- Experience - Min. 10 years.
- Candidate must have experience in Gulf.
