Job title:
QC Inspector – Welding
Employment type:

- Diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8–9 years of relevant experience
- CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2.1 – Mandatory
- Strong experience in steel fabrication projects
- Experience with shutdown & turnaround projects preferred
- Gulf experience will be an added advantage
- Inspect welding activities for piping, structural steel, and storage tanks
- Review and verify WPS, PQR, WQT
- Monitor welding, fit-up, joint preparation, and consumables
- Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT)
- Ensure compliance with ASME / API / AWS codes & project specifications
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection records, and dossiers
- Handle NCRs and follow up on corrective actions
- Coordinate with client and third-party inspectors
- Salary: QR 6,000
