About the role
The work scope of the Aerodrome Inspector (AI) is to provide regulatory oversight of regulated aerodromes to ensure compliance with the requirements of Qatar Civil Aviation Regulations (QCARs) and Civil Aviation Laws, and to ensure that aerodromes are operated and maintained in a manner that places safety as a top priority.
EducationA first‑level university degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, airport engineering, or another aerodrome‑related technical discipline, or a related field. Professional higher education combined with extensive qualifying work experience in civil engineering, airport engineering, airport operations, or another aviation‑related technical discipline may be accepted in lieu of a first‑level university degree.
ExperienceAt least 10 years of experience, specifically as an Aerodrome Inspector in a Civil Aviation Authority or in aviation‑related fields such as:
- Airport planning
- Design
- Construction
- Maintenance
- Operations
- Safety management
Experience should be within an airport organization or an international organization.
