AV Systems Design Consultation

• Lead the design and specification of audio, video, and control systems for large venues, stadiums, arenas, and multipurpose facilities.
• Develop acoustic modeling using EASE and Soundvision for loudspeaker coverage, intelligibility, and system optimization.
• Design and integrate giant LED screens, scoreboards, ribbon boards, and control room displays.
• Develop timing and scoring solutions with seamless integration across AV systems, displays, and broadcast networks.
• Design IP-networked AV systems (audio-over-IP, video-over-IP) and control system integration with IT infrastructure.
• Produce detailed documentation: schematics, signal flow diagrams, loudspeaker layouts, LED positioning, and network diagrams.
• Ensure all designs meet scalability, redundancy, and lifecycle management requirements.

• Coordinate with engineers, IT teams, and venue operators to ensure compliance with technical, operational, and budget requirements.
• Oversee commissioning, tuning, and final verification of AV systems.
• Manage site surveys and performance validation for acoustic, video, and networked AV systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, integrators, and venue teams to achieve design intent.

Minimum 10 years of professional AV consulting/design experience, including large venues, stadiums, arenas, or corporate campuses.

Proven experience in LED video display systems, giant scoreboards, timing & scoring solutions, and videowall design.

Demonstrated portfolio of large-scale AV project delivery (design through commissioning).

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• AVIXA: CTS, CTS‑D, or CTS‑
• Level 3 Certification
• Manufacturer certifications — L‑Acoustics, Bosch, Bose, Meyer Sound, Daktronics, Infiled, Novastar, Q‑SYS, Extron (any combination)

• Proven expertise in EASE/Soundvision acoustic modeling.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking for AV — configuration, routing, and integration with IT infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of project lifecycle management for large-scale AV projects.
• Excellent technical documentation, presentation, and client communication skills.
