Overview

SPIE Global Services Energy is an international subsidiary of the SPIE Group with a presence in more than 30 countries. It works across the entire energy production infrastructure value chain, providing design, maintenance and technical performance improvement services to oil, gas and renewable energy players.

Location:

Doha, Qatar. Role: PTW Coordinator (Permit to Work).

Responsibilities
  • Act as a Permit Coordinator in the verification of PTWs and Risk Assessments.
  • Serve as an Isolating Authority, ensuring that all isolations are designed, implemented and removed safely.
  • Manage the PTW Visual Management Dashboard.
  • Verify work is carried out safely as an Operating Authority Representative.
  • Participate in Daily Permit To Work Meetings, reviewing hazards and controls.
  • Support the transfer of paper PTWs, Risk Assessments and Long Term Isolations to the electronic system (eVision).
  • Provide visible leadership to personnel to ensure safety targets are met.
  • Promote NOC core values as a safety role model, fostering collaboration across the organization.
  • Promote cost consciousness to embed a strong cost culture.
  • Drive an incident free environment by maintaining a strong incident free culture.
  • Participate in and promote company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures, ensuring personal safety and that of colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with Operating Procedures and Guidelines for Process Safety, Operational Safety and Plant Integrity.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of higher secondary school education plus a three‑year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
  • At least 10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years offshore‑level on‑field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office.
