As an Estimation Engineer
, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for maintenance and service-related EPC projects. The role is critical in supporting tendering activities, ensuring cost efficiency, and contributing to successful project execution.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for oil & gas maintenance and service contracts
- Analyze RFQs, technical specifications, and scope of work
- Develop BOQs, cost breakdowns, and manpower estimates
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, and engineering teams
- Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations
- Identify cost risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support tender submissions and commercial proposals
- Participate in site visits for scope validation
- Maintain and update cost databases and historical data
- Ensure compliance with client and company standards
- 5+ years of experience in EPC estimation, preferably in maintenance/services projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- Strong understanding of oil & gas maintenance operations (shutdowns, turnaround, brownfield works)
- Experience in tendering and contract pricing
- Proficiency in Excel and estimation tools
- Knowledge of Qatar/Middle East market is an advantage
- Strong analytical and commercial awareness skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
