The Planning Manager is responsible for the development, management, and control of integrated project schedules, including cost- and resource-loaded planning, across all project phases.

The role ensures accurate schedule forecasting, progress measurement, and performance analysis through Primavera P6 and Earned Value Management (EVM). It provides critical insights into time, cost, and resource performance, enabling proactive decision-making and successful project delivery.

ROLE

ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop and maintain cost- and resource-loaded project schedules in Primavera P6 aligned with project scope and budget.
  • Establish and manage WBS structures, activity sequencing, and baseline schedules across all project phases.
  • Monitor and control schedule performance, including critical path, float, and progress tracking.
  • Implement and manage Earned Value Management (EVM), tracking PV, EV, AC, SPI, and CPI.
  • Analyze schedule and cost variances, provide forecasting insights and corrective actions.
  • Prepare integrated planning and performance reports, including S-curves, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Develop and monitor resource plans and histograms, ensuring optimal utilization and productivity.
  • Review and validate contractor schedules, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
  • Assess risks, delay, and change impacts, performing what-if and recovery schedule analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with project controls standards, processes, and reporting frameworks, driving continuous improvement.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8–12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • Strong experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, or data center projects.
  • Proven expertise in Primavera P6 (cost & resource-loaded scheduling).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Primavera P6 certification preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent is an advantage.
