As Vessel Operations Engineer
, you will respond/report to the Project Operations Manager and be part of various projects within the Operations Department
.
This role provides operational and technical support during tenders and project execution phases, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.
- Engineering Support
:
Review documentation, suggest improvements, and support the engineering team in planning and execution phases. - Project Operations
:
Assist both offshore and onshore teams with installation, diving, pre-commissioning, trenching, and hook-up operations. - Planning & Coordination
:
Coordinate equipment, material logistics, and cross-functional teams to ensure readiness and compliance. - Safety & Compliance
:
Ensure QA/QC & HSE standards are met; actively participate in risk assessments and safety briefings. - Execution Oversight
:
Supervise key activities during vessel mobilization/demobilization, loadouts, and critical offshore operations. - Continuous Improvement
:
Provide feedback and lessons learned to enhance procedures, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. - Commercial Support
:
Offer technical input to the commercial team for proposals and contractual matters.- Ensuring smooth execution during mobilization, testing, and installation phases
- Leading and managing a team composed of:
- Junior engineers (method/operations)
- Draftsmen
- Ensuring timely preparation of all installation documents
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
- Other engineering disciplines may also be considered
- 5–7 years of experience in Offshore Oil and Gas / EPC

Technical Skills / Knowledge- Strong experience in offshore oil and gas installations, including jackets, top sides, bridges, and heavy lifting operations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
