Structural Draftsman

Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Structural Draftsman to join a dynamic and professional team delivering high-quality construction and infrastructure projects. This role is critical in translating engineering designs into precise, actionable drawings that support project execution from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced drafting and BIM skills to produce accurate structural documentation while collaborating closely with engineers, architects, and site teams.

The position demands technical precision, strong coordination abilities, and a commitment to quality, making it essential for ensuring project success across diverse building types and complex structural systems.

• Create detailed structural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings with high accuracy.
• Prepare reinforcement detailing, foundation layouts, beam and slab drawings, column schedules, and structural steel drawings.
• Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, consultants, and site teams to ensure design compliance and project alignment.
• Review and update drawings in response to design changes, technical feedback, and site conditions.
• Support BIM coordination efforts and ensure all drawings adhere to project standards and specifications.
• Maintain organized drawing records and comprehensive revision histories throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist project teams with technical documentation during design, construction, and handover phases.

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Structural Draftsman in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of structural drafting principles and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Structure, and other drafting or BIM software.
• Experience in RCC detailing, reinforcement drawings, structural steel drawings, and shop drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience with commercial buildings, residential developments, industrial facilities, infrastructure projects, or high-rise construction.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows, Navisworks, Tekla Structures, and international engineering standards.
