Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise servers (HPE Pro Liant, Dell Power Edge, Cisco UCS).
- Operate enterprise storage arrays (Net App, Pure Storage, Dell EMC, HPE Primera, 3
PAR). - Manage virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper‑V, and HCI/Nutanix vSAN).
- Apply firmware, BIOS updates, and remote management via ILO/iDRAC/CIMC.
- Monitor capacity (CPU, memory, storage IOPS) and plan upgrades.
- Support backup integration with the backup team.
- Document hardware inventory, configurations, and runbooks.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
- 4+ years operating enterprise servers and storage in production.
- Strong expertise with at least one server line and one enterprise storage vendor.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware vSphere or Hyper‑V.
- Familiarity with SAN concepts (FC, iSCSI, multipathing).
- Fundamentals of Linux and Windows servers.
- Professional English mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Arabic.
- VMware VCP‑DCV vendor certifications.
- Net App NCDA, HPE ASE, Dell DCSE certifications.
- HCI experience.
- Nutanix NCP certification.
- Programming skills in Power Shell or Python for automation.
