Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

A Construction Planning Engineer is the mastermind behind project execution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Transforming blueprints and scope documents into detailed actionable schedules.
• Forecasting timelines, tracking progress, and allocating resources to ensure safe, on‑time, and on‑budget completion.
• Planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely and successful completion.
• Assessing complex project data, identifying trends, anticipating potential issues, and proposing effective solutions to maintain project timelines.
• Collaborating effectively with diverse teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure clear understanding and alignment on project objectives.
• Creating, managing, and updating project schedules using project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other planning tools.
• Meticulously monitoring project plans, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy in scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and the MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and contract negotiation skills (knowledge of FIDIC or similar contracts is highly valued).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Planning of pools and landscaping construction projects.
