We are looking for a skilled Automation Technician / PLC Programmer (Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley) / Instrumentation Technician to join our growing automation team. If you are equipped with knowledge in instrumentation, programming, and optimizing industrial control systems that power automated waste collection system, this role is for you.
This is a hands‑on engineering role where your work directly impacts productivity, efficiency, and innovation in automated waste collection systems.
Key Responsibilities- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC systems.
- Develop and maintain HMI and SCADA systems.
- Support commissioning of automation control systems on‑site and remotely.
- Perform system integration with sensors, drives, and industrial equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve automation and control system issues.
- Collaborate with project electrical and mechanical engineering teams.
- Support operations team on preventive maintenance and system optimization.
- Attend meetings with clients and consultants.
- Experience in PLC programming (Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley).
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems and protocols (EtherCAT, Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, MQTT).
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Experience in HMI/SCADA development.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation or related field (preferred, not mandatory if experienced).
- Willingness to travel for site commissioning (if required).
- Qatar driving license is an advantage.
