Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of fire and gas detection systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Calibrate and maintain fire and gas detection equipment, troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
- Perform functional testing of fire alarm and gas detection systems, documenting results and addressing any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans, ensuring all team members are trained and prepared.
- A minimum of an associate degree in fire science, engineering, or a related technical field is required.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in fire and gas systems within industrial settings.
- Experience with installation and maintenance of fire and gas detection systems in oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
- Background in safety management or emergency response will be favored.
