Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment)
Airswift is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work with an EPC company in Qatar.
Job PurposeProvide expertise in rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, seals) supporting leak management and plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain rotating equipment integrity and performance.
- Develop maintenance strategies for pumps, compressors, and rotating machinery.
- Troubleshoot vibration, lubrication, sealing, and alignment issues.
- Support failure investigations and corrective action plans.
- Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with API standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment engineering in oil & gas.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, gas turbines, and associated systems.
- Familiarity with API codes and relevant standards.
- Strong problem‑solving and reliability engineering skills.
