Experienced Landscape & Irrigation Engineer responsible for the planning, design, execution, and maintenance of landscape and irrigation projects from concept through completion. Skilled in developing landscape designs, preparing detailed drawings, technical specifications, irrigation system schematics, quantity take-offs, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs). Capable of conducting design evaluations and value engineering exercises to optimize project performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. Acts as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, leading technical meetings, understanding project requirements, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Manages multidisciplinary teams of engineers, supervisors, and site personnel during both construction and maintenance phases, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
- Designing landscape and irrigation systems for commercial, residential, hospitality, and public-sector developments.
- Preparing concept, detailed, and as-built drawings using industry-standard software.
- Developing irrigation schematics, hydraulic calculations, and water management strategies.
- Preparing BOQs, cost estimates, material specifications, and tender documentation.
- Reviewing and evaluating designs, shop drawings, and contractor submissions.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, authorities, and suppliers throughout project life cycles.
- Leading site teams during construction and maintenance activities, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitoring project progress, resolving technical issues, and implementing corrective actions when required.
- Driving sustainable landscaping practices, efficient irrigation solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, plant selection, and horticultural practices.
- Expertise in irrigation system design, hydraulic calculations, and water-efficient irrigation solutions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and landscape design software.
- Ability to prepare and review technical drawings, irrigation schematics, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, landscape maintenance practices, and project lifecycle management.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of local authority requirements, industry standards, and environmental regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
