As Piping Designer
, you will be part of the Piping & Layout Engineer Department within the COMP3 Project
.

• Manage on a project a team of Piping and Layout Draftsmen to carry out the Piping and Layout part of the installations, 3D CAD model and the Piping and Layout construction drawings in accordance with technical, budget and schedule targets, under the responsibility of the project Piping and Layout leader or piping engineers.
• Design, execute or check typical Piping and Layout studies including 3D modelling; review the 3D model with other disciplines and issue clash check reports.
• Produce construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracting from 3D for piping networks (overall plot plan, equipment layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics and piping supports).
• Prepare bill of materials or material take-offs; extract material information from the 3D CAD model.
• Organize the work of the team and monitor resource planning and mobilisation; coordinate with project Piping and Layout engineers.
• Check input data and all documents issued by the team; ensure assumptions remain valid and warn the project Piping and Layout Lead of any anomalies.
• Supervise document updates after comments from other disciplines or external stakeholders; feed the Piping and Layout Department improvement system with lessons learned.
• Support construction, start-up and material management at site; provide engineering support during construction.

• Education: Degree / Diploma in Design-Piping Engineering or related degree.
• Experience: 5-10+ years of experience.
• Languages: Proficient in English.

• EPC experience verifiable
• 3D CAD Modelling
• 2D Software

• AutoCAD 2D/3D and similar software/tools
• Office package (including Microsoft Project)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
