Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer – Doha

Linum Consult’s client is a major international company working within the energy sector. They are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to be based in their Doha office.

• Oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule and budget
• Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using CAD software
• Conduct site investigations and risk assessments
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and local and international industry standards
• Ensure executed work complies with approved designs, local, national, and international building codes and regulations
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering
• At least 12 years’ experience in a Civil Engineer role within the heavy industry construction sector
• Good understanding of the power and/or energy sectors, with a history of executing civil engineering works on power plant construction projects
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Currently working in Doha, with a good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture and working environment
