Draftsman

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate engineering drawings and drafting documentation for Drainage and Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) infrastructure projects in accordance with Ashghal standards. The role supports design and construction teams by producing detailed drawings, revisions, and Traffic Diversion Plans (TDPs), ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings for Drainage and TSE infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• Develop, revise, and update construction drawings, as-built drawings, and shop drawings in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare Traffic Diversion Plan (TDP) drawings in compliance with Ashghal guidelines and project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and site personnel to incorporate design changes and technical revisions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with Ashghal standards, project specifications, and applicable engineering codes.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission.
• Support project execution by providing timely drafting revisions and resolving drawing-related issues.
• Attend coordination meetings when required and provide drafting support during project execution.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Engineer or Project Manager.

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on Ashghal Drainage and TSE projects

• Proven experience in preparing engineering drawings for drainage, sewerage, and utility infrastructure works.
• Experience in preparing Traffic Diversion Plan (TDP) drawings is a significant advantage and highly preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• Good understanding of Ashghal standards, drainage layouts, utility corridors, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent drafting and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
