We are seeking a highly skilled Installed Based Service Engineer with strong expertise in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of LV/MV electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with switchboards, protection relays, transformers, and modern electrical test equipment – preferably Schneider Electric technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Perform installation, operation, testing, and commissioning of LV and MV AIS/GIS switchboards, preferably Schneider Electric switchboards.
- Conduct testing of CTs, VTs, Circuit Breakers (CBs) and related power system components.
- Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of power transformers.
- Carry out functional tests, logic checks, and verification procedures for electrical protection systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in electromechanical and numerical protection relays, preferably Schneider Electric types such as Micom, Sepam, Tesys‑T, etc.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of circuit breakers and switchboards.
- Conduct electrical network fault finding and troubleshooting with strong analytical capability.
- Operate modern electrical testing tools such as Omicron test equipment (preferred).
- Utilize PLC logic understanding for testing, troubleshooting, and system improvement (added advantage).
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results, commissioning reports, and service activity logs.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, company procedures, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and customer service at client sites.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience with LV/MV AIS/GIS switchboards (Schneider Electric preferred).
- Testing experience for CT, VT, CB components.
- Strong knowledge of electromechanical and numerical protection relays.
- Hands‑on experience with transformer testing and commissioning.
- Knowledge of PLC logic and systems (advantageous).
- Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of switchboards and circuit breakers.
- Experience using modern test equipment (Omicron preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Windows & MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with software related to test equipment and protection relay configuration.
