As a professional expert in jacket structure, an approver or reviewer, provide and check the implementation strategy, implementation plan, interface management, basic data, risk control, professional engineering scheme and documents of jacket structure, identify potential risks of the project and formulate reasonable countermeasures.
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Jacket structural design including calculation and report compiling, technical management, proofreading, review, procurement technical support (bidding document preparation, bid evaluation, clarification, drawing review, FAT, etc.), etc;
- Responsible for coordinating with CLIENT to solve project and related issues raised by the CLIENT;
- Coordinate with CLIENT, classification societies and other third parties as well as foreign national and local regulations formulation and review bodies to solve relevant problems and review comments;
- Provide technical training and guidance to designers on a regular basis, with no less than 10 times or 40 hours of training per year;
- Provide site survey technical support and offshore survey;
- Provide fabrication technical support;
- Provide jacket installation technical support;
- Responsible for completing other related tasks assigned by COMPANY.
- Bachelor degree or above;
- Over 8 years offshore jacket structural engineering experience. Project experience in the Middle East is preferred;
- Familiar with professional knowledge of jacket structural engineering, international code, specifications, industry regulations and policies (including but not limited to API, ISO, ASME, SHELL DEP, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc.);
- Skilled in SACS, MOSES, ANSYS, USFOS, etc;
- Proficient in using relevant office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc;
- Work diligently, rigorously, with a strong sense of responsibility, hardworking, and can work overtime at any time according to work needs;
- Have good learning ability and be able to actively learn new skills and knowledge;
- Have rich experience in on-site cooperation, according to the needs of project work, obey the domestic or overseas business trips, working at offshore oil and gas facilities.
- Possess English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills that meet job requirements. Foreign personnel should have priority in their native English.
The employment type for this position is third-party staffing. The employees shall enter into an employment contract via HR agency and provide services to COOEC.
