Only candidates who already hold GSAS credentials with experience in CDA (Conformance to Design Audits) will be considered.
Role DescriptionThe GSAS Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Doha, responsible for coordinating and managing GSAS-related activities across building projects. The coordinator will support project teams in planning and implementing GSAS requirements, including documentation, evidence collection, and submission of certification deliverables to relevant authorities (GORD). Day-to-day tasks include reviewing design and construction documents for compliance, tracking sustainability metrics, liaising with Contractors, and preparing reports that outline progress toward GSAS targets.
The role involves supporting integrated design workshops, communicating GSAS criteria to project stakeholders, and helping resolve technical or procedural issues related to certification. The GSAS Coordinator will collaborate closely with internal and external teams to ensure timelines are met, risks are mitigated, and sustainability objectives are consistently achieved.
- Join & support our back-office team for GSAS CDA certification as a site-based GSAS Coordinator.
- Collaborate with contractor's team to ensure proper implementation of GSAS requirements during construction for a large-scale project.
- Conduct sustainability compliance assurance, including site inspections, construction team guidance and documentation of GSAS compliance evidence.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate GSAS strategies and implementation.
- Review GSAS implementation plans and site compliance report and provide professional comments.
- Issue SORs (Site Observation Reports) in a weekly basis.
- Issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when required and follow up with contractor until closure within the specified time frame.
- Lead and coordinate CDA visits with GORD and coordinate with construction teams to prepare the pre-audit and post-audit documentation.
- Manage the final certification process in the GSAS-Gate to ensure the issuance of the Final GSAS certificate with the target star rating.
- University Degree in a relevant field (Architectural, MEP, Civil, Environmental Engineering,...).
- Valid GSAS CGP accreditation (GSAS CGP) obtained more than 3 years ago.
- 3-7 Years of experience in implementing green building certification, specifically GSAS and/or LEED.
- Project Management skills, preferably with site/construction side.
- Professional communication skills in English.
- Valid Residency in Qatar with NOC.
- Ability to join within 4 weeks of the Job Offer date.
