Sr. Mechanical Draftsman - MEP Building Construction

Sr. Mechanical Draftsman - MEP Building Construction Mind Stream is recruiting a Sr. Mechanical Draftsman for a leading MEP Contracting Company. This role is vital for ensuring that all mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting layouts are perfectly coordinated and ready for site execution.
Responsibilities- Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
- Coordinate mechanical layouts with electrical, structural, and architectural drawings to resolve clashes.
- Generate sections, isometric drawings, and installation details for site execution.
- Incorporate engineer mark-ups and consultant comments into revised drawing sets.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on site redlines and final installations.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MEP coordination.
- Strong background in HVAC drafting, plumbing layouts, and firefighting systems.
- Experience generating detailed shop drawings, section details, and as-built drawings.
- Ability to extract material quantities from drawings for procurement.
- Knowledge of standard layers, scales, drafting templates, and version control.
