Mechanical Engineer
- Female (Arabic Speaking) at TDGISERV Qatar in Doha, DAW, QA. This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supervising, maintaining, repairing, testing, and improving a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facilities. The position combines technical expertise, team leadership, maintenance management, troubleshooting, project support, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Lead and supervise technicians, contractors, and maintenance personnel performing mechanical maintenance activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for mechanical equipment and infrastructure.
• Manage installation, repair, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including pumps, cooling systems, water treatment systems, plumbing networks, fire protection systems, and associated equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize recurring breakdowns.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and new project requirements; provide engineering support during planning and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality management standards, including risk assessments and ISO requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports, incident reports, equipment performance analyses, and other technical documentation.
• Manage spare parts, materials, tools, and maintenance resources to maintain operational continuity.
• Utilize CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems to support maintenance planning and asset reliability.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support facility operations.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, maintenance practices, and building services systems.
• Experience with cooling water systems, pumps, piping networks, HVAC-related mechanical equipment, plumbing, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to lead teams, manage contractors, and oversee maintenance activities.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and quality management standards.
• Good computer literacy and technical reporting skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working in a multicultural environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience with large-scale water cooling systems, piping projects, utilities, and facility maintenance operations is highly desirable.
