Senior Civil / Structural Engineer Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Structural Engineering preferred).
- Professional Engineer registration is an advantage.
- 10+ years in structural design and construction of large buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Minimum 6 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in structural engineering, project management, and construction activities.
- Knowledge of BS, EN, ASTM, and relevant industry standards.
- Experience with water-retaining structures, dewatering, commissioning, and handover activities preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and structural design software.
- Strong communication and technical reporting skills.
- Provide civil/structural engineering support across project phases.
- Review and approve drawings, specifications, calculations, materials, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and engineering standards.
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Evaluate technical bids, variations, and engineering proposals.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering recommendations.
- Support project delivery with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
