Senior Foul Sewerage Design Engineer

An international engineering consultancy company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Foul Sewerage Design Engineer to join our Roads & Infrastructure team in Qatar. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of foul sewerage systems for major highway and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local authority requirements and international engineering standards.

Key Qualifications &

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline (Master's degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the design of foul sewerage systems and utility infrastructure.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience within GCC countries.
• Valid MMUP Certification (Mandatory).
• Proven experience in the planning, hydraulic design, and coordination of gravity sewer networks, rising mains, pumping stations, and associated wastewater infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater collection systems, hydraulic calculations, pipeline design, sewer network analysis, and utility coordination for roads and highway projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software such as SewerGEMS, Info Works ICM, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant hydraulic and utility design applications.
• Thorough understanding of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), Ashghal requirements, Qatar sewerage design standards, and international engineering codes.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering designs and effectively interface with clients, stakeholders, and utility authorities.
• Excellent technical, analytical, leadership, and communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions on complex infrastructure projects.
