CAD Technician - Traffic Signs & Road Marking

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traffic Signs & Road Marking CAD Technician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Traffic Signs, Road Markings, and Directional Sign drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
, while ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and ISO 19650 workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare professional-quality drawings and 3D models for Traffic Signs, Road Markings, and Directional Sign projects.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, including general arrangements, layout plans, structural details, and schedules using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Convert engineering sketches, specifications, and design notes into accurate working drawings.
• Create and update 3D models for traffic-related disciplines using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform clash detection analysis and generate clash reports using Navisworks.
• Coordinate closely with design engineers to develop and finalize project drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company CAD standards, project specifications, and ISO 19650 document management workflows.
• Utilize Project Wise and/or ACC Navigator for drawing and document management.
• Perform dimensional checks, routine calculations, and quality reviews of drawings before submission.
• Maintain drawing revisions and ensure timely delivery of project documentation.

Requirements

• Associate Degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience on Traffic and Highways projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Navisworks
  , and related CAD software.
• Experience using Project Wise and/or ACC Navigator for document management.
• Strong understanding of Traffic Signs, Road Markings, and Directional Sign drawing standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 workflows and drawing approval processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with highway and infrastructure projects.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with Qatar road and traffic standards is an advantage.
