Job Description
We are looking for Environment, Health & Safety Lead Engineer to be accountable for conducting analyses of occupational hazards and health and environmental risks and prescribing the preventive or corrective measures, equipment, training and education necessary to ensure that the services team meets and/or exceeds the requirements of local regulations, standards and/or laws and company policies and procedures.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Contribute in promote a strong safety culture among Gulf Services Team.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs;
Promote safety awareness through communication campaigns. - Help defining and providing induction training for new hires, partners and contractors.
- Performs job hazard analysis to identify loss potential of our systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with Health &Safety regulations and keep up to date with applicable local, national, regional and international regulations.
- Continuously review and update local standards, policies, and practices to ensure they remain current, aligned with company guidelines, and fully compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Assist with maintaining of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 program requirements and certification.
- Manage incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain required records, prepares reports and files as necessary to meet company and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure involvement of safety team in tendering stage for all projects.
- Carry out safety site audits on targeted population, prepare audit reports highlighting findings, corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure safety compliance from contractors and partners.
- Follows safety KPI’s (safety strategy implementation, safety audits, safety trainings) regularly and takes appropriate actions if needed.
Core Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 6–10 years of progressive experience in safety roles, ideally in field‑services or electrical environments.
- NEBOSH IGC certificate is a must (minimum requirement).
- Certified lead auditor ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in HSE management systems and tools.
- Strong competency in electrical safety, incident investigation, and risk assessment.

- Experience in change management, project coordination, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and foster a strong safety culture.

Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing large‑scale services operations projects and regional programs.
- Knowledge of UAE and Gulf regulatory frameworks related to HSE.
- Proven track record of using KPI‑driven approaches to improve safety performance.
