We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development and testing of mechanical components and systems. You must have a strong understanding of the principles of engineering and be able to think critically and solve difficult problems. You will also be expected to provide technical support to other departments and ensure that all safety standards are met.

• Design, develop and test mechanical components and systems in accordance with engineering principles.
• Create models, diagrams and schematics to illustrate the design process.
• Maintain an organized system for tracking progress on projects.
• Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality products are produced.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to mechanical systems or components.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to provide technical support, feedback, or input as needed.
• Keep up-to-date on industry trends and regulations relating to mechanical engineering processes or products.
• Prepare reports or presentations outlining project updates or objectives as requested by management team.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required;
  Master's degree is preferred but not essential
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role is required; experience in an industrial setting is advantageous
• Proficient in 3D modeling software such as Autodesk or Solid Works; knowledge of CAD/CAM software is advantageous
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex problems quickly and accurately
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels

Salary: 1400 QR
