Construction Supervisor (Electrical & Instrumentation) - DOHA, QATAR.

Airswift is seeking for a Construction Supervisor (Electrical & Instrumentation) to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.
Mandatory Requirements:- Qualification Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an internationally recognized University.
- Preferably having formal training in QA/QC functional aspects.
- Experience Candidate should have a minimum of 12 to 15 years overall E&I construction experience in onshore oil and gas project.
- In addition, the candidate shall have specific stated experiences in:
Greenfield/new build construction sites. - Brownfield/live process plants.
- Permits to work, incl Isolation & Lock Out/Tag Out of live services.
- Tie-in to live facilities, including testing and integration to existing systems.
- Construction of new sub-stations & control rooms, incl building E&I services.
- Stage Inspection and Testing of Construction activities as per approved ITPs.
- SAT Testing of electrical and/or Instrument/control systems.
- Cathodic Protection Installation (UG/AG Pipes, Tanks, etc.).
- Test and Precommissioning.
- Experience with High Voltage (HV) electrical systems is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years experience as an EPIC Contractor, including recent positions held to the level of Superintendent.
- An additional 5 years’ experience as a client or PMC superintendent / Snr Supervisor is preferred.
- Current experience in State of Qatar industrial cities and/or other GCC countries is preferred.
- Technical Knowledge Familiar with international Codes, Standards and regulations relevant to the job function (e.g. QCS, ACI, AISC, BS / EN / ISO / ASTM standards, Shell DEP etc.).
