About the Role
To provide accurate technical evaluation of construction and maintenance projects, including the review of technical proposals, Bills of Quantities (BoQ), and execution plans, ensuring compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Review construction and maintenance proposals and analyze technical specifications.
- Verify and review Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and perform quantity take-offs when required.
- Evaluate contractors project schedules and execution plans.
- Compare construction methodologies and identify technical differences among bidders.
- Review the compliance of materials and works with applicable standards and specifications.
- Prepare technical evaluation reports for construction projects in coordination with committee members.
- Develop and enhance project management methodologies, including Improving evaluation procedures and processes;
Establishing standardized performance measurement criteria;
Adopting industry best practices to ensure quality execution;
Assessing innovative construction technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs;
Providing recommendations regarding the implementation and enhancement of digital project management systems. - Provide technical support and advice to project committees and stakeholders as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction projects and/or maintenance works.
- Strong knowledge of Bills of Quantities (BoQ), project planning, and contract management practices.
- Proven experience in developing project management methodologies, establishing performance standards, and implementing international best practices.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating project schedules, comparing execution methodologies, and identifying technical differences among bidders.
- Ability to prepare detailed technical reports and coordinate effectively with technical and administrative committees.
- Knowledge of modern construction technologies and innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and optimize costs.
- Excellent command of both Arabic and English
