Civil Technician

Madre Integrated Engineering | Full time

• Inspect, assess, and maintain civil structures by identifying defects, performing structural evaluations, and recommending or carrying out appropriate repairs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, prepare site layouts, specifications, cost estimates, and support civil engineering projects.
• Conduct quality control and field testing of concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, and structural materials in accordance with ASTM standards.
• Perform material quantity calculations, bearing capacity tests, concrete strength testing, and sampling to ensure compliance with project and quality requirements.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans, document inspection findings, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the safe and reliable operation of civil infrastructure.

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in civil construction, maintenance, or infrastructure projects within power plants, utilities, oil & gas, industrial, or heavy construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, site layouts, quantity calculations, cost estimation, and civil maintenance planning

• Hands-on experience in concrete, soil, aggregate, asphalt testing, structural inspections, defect assessment, and ASTM quality control standards
  .
• Proficient in conducting field testing
  , structural assessments, material sampling, and preparing engineering reports, specifications, and maintenance recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to work safely and effectively in industrial environments.
