Instrument & Control Technician

Madre Integrated Engineering | Full time

Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems to maximize plant reliability and availability.

Maintain and repair control valves, transmitters, analyzers, PLC systems, LT/HT drives, sensors, switches, and other plant instrumentation in accordance with OEM standards.

Execute maintenance work orders using SAP/CMMS
, maintain accurate maintenance records, and prepare calibration and defect rectification reports.

Ensure compliance with HSE policies, Permit-to-Work systems, risk assessments, safety procedures
, and proper handling of analytical chemicals and test equipment.

Coordinate with I&C Engineers, Operations teams, and maintenance personnel to support routine and emergency maintenance activities while minimizing equipment downtime.

Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3-4 years' experience in instrumentation and control maintenance within power generation, desalination, utilities, or oil & gas industries.

Hands-on experience with control valves, actuators, transmitters, PLC systems, LT/HT drives, analyzers, sensors, switches, and instrument calibration

Proficient in SAP/CMMS
, P&, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, and OEM maintenance standards.

Certified or trained in First Aid, CPR, Emergency Fire Fighting, H2S, Process Safety
, and knowledgeable in Permit-to-Work (PTW), risk assessments, and HSE procedures .

Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently, respond to emergency call-outs, and operate in multicultural industrial environments.
