We are recruiting for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer Level I specializing in Welding within the Specialized Services Workshop.
You will be responsible for aircraft/component maintenance to maintain its airworthiness and operational requirements within his authority as Licensed Aircraft Engineer. To direct/guide team of lead mechanics, mechanics by providing specialised technical knowledge.
Specific responsibilities of the role include:
OperationalExercising license/approval privileges in relation to accomplishment of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and rectification to support aircraft operation.
Responsible for supervising and executing team comprising of licensed technicians, lead mechanics and mechanics to optimize resource utilization.
Primarily responsible for assisting Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor-Workshops or Licensed Aircraft Engineer-Workshops(Level II) in executing specific assigned responsibilities.
Ensure maintenance is accomplished to required standards as prescribed by Aircraft/Component manufacturer to maintain airworthiness.
Ensure maintenance activities are documented, recorded and completed as per applicable manuals and regulations.
Ensure all tools and equipment is calibrated and serviceable.
Ensure staff adhere to Health and Safety requirements.
Perform other department duties as directed.

About You- High School Certificate plus Diploma in Aviation or Technical Trade
- Minimum 9 years of Aircraft Components TIG Welding experience
- Welding Equipment Training completed
- Valid Company Authorization for Welding
Approved Welder certification as per AWS D17 or BCAR Section A8-10
Document Requirements- Highest Educational Qualification Certificate
- Welding Equipment Training Certificate
- Approved Welder Certificate (AWS D17 or BCAR A8-10)
- Company Authorization Letter/Certificate
- MOE and Company Training Certificates
- Experience Certificate/Employment Letter confirming relevant TIG welding experience
