Position: Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects to join our team. The Quantity Surveyor (MEP) will be responsible for managing all costs related to MEP projects, from initial calculations to final figures.

Job Responsibility

Conducting on-site measurements and preparing accurate quantity take-offs for MEP systems.

Analyzing project drawings and specifications to determine accurate quantities of materials required.

Estimating costs of labor, materials, and equipment needed for MEP projects.

Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.

Monitoring project progress and budget to ensure financial targets are met.

Preparing and submitting variations, claims, and invoices related to MEP works.

Keeping updated records and documentation for all MEP-related costs.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on MEP projects.

Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and construction methods.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

Proficiency in relevant software for quantity surveying.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
