Planning Manager

The Planning Manager is responsible for leading all planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting activities for major power infrastructure projects, including power plants, substations, transmission lines, grid expansion, and related EPC works. The role ensures that project schedules are realistic, resource-loaded, and aligned with contractual milestones.

• Develop and maintain overall project master schedules using Primavera P6.
• Establish project WBS, baselines, critical path, and project controls procedures.
• Monitor project progress and identify schedule risks and delays.
• Lead schedule recovery plans and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and client teams.
• Analyze project performance through earned value management (EVM).
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Review contractor and subcontractor schedules and progress updates.
• Support claims, extension of time (EOT), and delay analysis activities.
• Lead and mentor planning engineers across multiple projects.
• Ensure compliance with project controls standards and reporting requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 15+ years of project planning experience.
• At least 8 years in power generation, transmission, substations, or power infrastructure EPC projects.
• Proven experience on large-scale power plant projects (CCGT, Combined Cycle, Gas Turbine, Thermal, Renewable Energy projects preferred).
• GCC project experience is highly desirable.
