Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer Seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership and electrical engineering expertise during EPC, commissioning, start-up, and operational phases of major industrial projects.

Provide electrical engineering expertise and support during design, EPC, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities. Participate in design reviews, technical evaluations, commissioning, start-up support, failure analysis, troubleshooting, and Management of Change (MOC) processes. Support or lead electrical equipment integrity and reliability programs to achieve high standards of safety, availability, reliability, and cybersecurity. Provide technical guidance during commissioning and start-up to ensure seamless system integration and operational readiness.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues during project and operational phases. Coordinate and supervise activities performed by contractors, consultants, vendors, and service providers. Review and validate electrical equipment specifications and ensure compliance with project and operational requirements. Support project tie-ins and system handovers in accordance with established electrical assurance and reliability strategies. Maintain and manage technical issue registers, identifying and resolving risks that may impact reliability, availability, or cybersecurity.

Develop comprehensive handover documentation and knowledge transfer packages to support transition into operations. Support high-risk commissioning activities, including system surveillance, tuning, optimization, and advisory support to operations and maintenance teams.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 6 years of experience within the oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or heavy industrial sector. Understanding of cybersecurity considerations for critical electrical systems.
