Kin Tec Global is recruiting experienced Telecom Engineering professionals to support a leading national Oil & Gas operator in Doha, Qatar. These positions offer the opportunity to work on critical telecommunications infrastructure supporting industrial operations, process facilities, offshore and onshore assets, and large-scale energy sector projects.

As a Telecom Engineer, Senior Telecom Engineer, or Lead Telecom Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, planning, implementation, operation, and maintenance of industrial telecommunications systems supporting mission-critical Oil & Gas operations. Successful candidates will contribute to the delivery of reliable communication networks and integrated telecom solutions across complex industrial environments. The roles require strong technical expertise in telecom engineering, project execution, system design, vendor management, and lifecycle support of operational communication systems.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards, operational requirements, and project objectives. • Design, develop, and support industrial telecommunications systems for Oil & Gas facilities
• Prepare telecom engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation
• Support the implementation and commissioning of telecom infrastructure projects
• Manage telecom system upgrades, expansions, and modernization initiatives
• Review contractor deliverables and ensure compliance with technical standards
• Perform technical evaluations and support vendor selection processes
• Ensure telecom systems meet operational, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Support project execution activities from concept through commissioning and handover
• Troubleshoot telecom infrastructure issues and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, project, and engineering teams
• Conduct technical reviews, site surveys, and system performance assessments
• Ensure telecom solutions align with business continuity and operational reliability objectives

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mandatory)
• Minimum 5-10 years of telecommunications engineering experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Heavy Industrial sector
• Strong knowledge of industrial telecommunications infrastructure and systems
• Experience supporting telecom engineering projects within large-scale industrial environments
• Understanding of telecom system design, implementation, and lifecycle management
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety requirements, and engineering best practices
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in complex operational and project-driven environments

• Experience with Fiber Optic communication systems
• Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet and IP-based communication networks
• Experience with Microwave, Radio, and Wireless Communication systems
• Familiarity with CCTV, Access Control, Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA), and Telephony systems
• Experience supporting offshore and onshore Oil & Gas facilities
• Project Management or Telecom Engineering certifications
