Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive mechanical quality assurance and control plans ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards
- Lead and mentor a team of QA QC inspectors and engineers fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the mechanical construction lifecycle
- Conduct rigorous inspections and testing of mechanical equipment piping systems and structural components identifying and resolving non-conformities promptly
- Review and approve mechanical engineering designs shop drawings and material submittals to guarantee compliance with quality requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in QA/QC roles within the mechanical engineering sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification is highly desirable.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or other relevant NDT/inspection certifications (e.g., ASNT Level II) is a significant advantage.
