Prepare detailed mechanical MEP shop drawings using AutoCAD. Prepare layouts for mechanical services according to approved design drawings. Prepare HVAC ducting and piping layouts where applicable. Prepare plumbing drainage and firefighting drawings depending on project scope. Prepare sections, details, schematics and equipment layouts. Coordinate mechanical drawings with electrical, architectural, structural and other services. Revise drawings according to engineer consultant comments. Update drawings according to actual site conditions.
Prepare As-Built drawings and support handover documentation. Maintain drawing revisions and coordinate with site engineers for accurate information.
Diploma/ITI or relevant qualification in Mechanical/Drafting. Minimum 2–3 years Gulf experience in Mechanical Drafting – mandatory as per the received requirement.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Relevant experience preparing mechanical/MEP shop drawings.
- Knowledge of HVAC/mechanical services drawings.
- Plumbing, drainage and firefighting drafting experience is advantageous.
- Ability to understand MEP drawings and coordinate different services.
- Revit MEP/BIM experience is an advantage but is not specified as mandatory by the client.
Must be available for ASAP mobilization.
