3D Modeling & 3D Printer Operator

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models for prototyping and production
• Prepare 3D models for printing including slicing and print setup
• Operate and monitor 3D printers
• Perform printer calibration setup cleaning and basic maintenance
• Troubleshoot failed prints and improve print quality
• Perform basic post-processing and finishing of printed components
• Assist with rapid prototyping and product development

• Experience with 3D modeling CAD software
• Experience operating 3D printers
• Understanding of slicing software
• Good understanding of 3D printing materials and manufacturing processes
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and printing-related issues
• Comfortable working with tools machines and physical prototypes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple print jobs
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience with Fusion 360 Solid Works Blender Rhino or similar software
• Experience with FDM FFF 3D printing
• Knowledge of product design mechanical components or engineering drawings
• Experience with prototyping assembly or small-scale manufacturing
• Portfolio or examples of previous 3D modeling and 3D printing work
