The Asset Management & Sustainability Engineer is responsible for supporting the effective management, performance, reliability, lifecycle planning, and sustainability of physical assets across facilities and properties.

The role combines asset management, engineering performance, energy efficiency, sustainability, lifecycle planning, compliance, and data analysis to maximize asset value, minimize operational costs, improve reliability, and support the organization's environmental and sustainability objectives.

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the organization's asset management system and asset register.
• Maintain accurate records of buildings, MEP systems, equipment, infrastructure, and other physical assets.
• Establish asset criticality classifications based on operational, financial, safety, and business risks.
• Monitor asset condition, performance, reliability, availability, and remaining useful life.
• Develop and maintain asset lifecycle plans, replacement strategies, and renewal programs.
• Prepare long-term asset investment and capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans.
• Review asset maintenance strategies and recommend improvements based on lifecycle cost and performance.
• Identify aging, obsolete, underperforming, and high-risk assets and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Support asset valuation, condition assessments, and technical due diligence where required.
• Ensure asset data is properly maintained within CAFM/CMMS or other asset management systems.

• Develop and implement sustainability initiatives for buildings and facilities.
• Monitor energy, water, waste, and resource consumption.
• Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption, operating costs, carbon emissions, and resource wastage.
• Conduct energy and resource efficiency assessments and recommend improvement measures.
• Support the implementation of renewable energy, energy‑efficient equipment, smart building systems, and sustainable technologies.
• Monitor HVAC, lighting, electrical, water, and other building systems for efficiency opportunities.
• Develop sustainability performance indicators and monitor progress against established targets.
• Support carbon footprint measurement, greenhouse gas emissions reporting, and reduction initiatives.
• Promote waste reduction, recycling, water conservation, and environmentally responsible practices.

• Review the technical condition and performance of MEP and building systems.
• Analyze equipment failure trends, maintenance history, energy consumption, and operational performance.
• Support root‑cause analysis of recurring asset failures and recommend corrective measures.
• Review preventive and predictive maintenance requirements for critical assets.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, FM operations, and contractors to improve asset performance.
• Review technical specifications, equipment selections, and proposed asset replacements.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable Qatar regulations, standards, client requirements, and company procedures.

• Develop and monitor asset performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare regular reports on asset condition, reliability, availability, maintenance performance, energy consumption, and lifecycle status.
