Lead Process Engineer

Lead planning, execution, and technical assurance of the process engineering scope, establishing priorities, deliverable schedules, resource requirements, and quality expectations.

Direct heat and mass balance calculations, process simulations, process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, design philosophies, operating envelopes, and technical reviews in compliance with project requirements and standards.

Provide technical leadership for power generation process systems including gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, cooling systems, water treatment systems, fuel handling systems, condensate systems, and auxiliary utilities.

Prepare and review process engineering requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor documents, deviations, clarifications, performance guarantees, and acceptance criteria through manufacturing, testing, and delivery.

Manage technical interfaces with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control systems, civil, structural, construction, and commissioning teams.

Lead constructability reviews and resolve technical queries, field modifications, non-conformities, startup challenges, and process-related issues while maintaining design intent.

Ensure calculations, studies, PFDs, P&IDs, operating philosophies, and specifications are checked, verified, and approved in accordance with quality procedures, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.

Lead HAZOP, process safety reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering initiatives while ensuring compliance with process safety management requirements.

Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, reliability runs, performance testing, punch-list closure, operating documentation preparation, and final project handover.

Guide process engineers, allocate work assignments, review deliverables, mentor team members, promote knowledge sharing, and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
